This agreement has been incorporated in the Texas Administrative Code, and represents an agreement between the Texas Department of Criminal Justice, the Health and Human Services Commission, Community Mental Health and Mental Retardation Centers, and Community Supervision and Corrections Departments. Requirements of the agreement include all agencies developing rules, policies, procedures, or standards to describe each agency’s responsibility in ensuring continuity of care; informing each other of any policy changes within individual agencies; and providing yearly progress reports to the Texas Correctional Office.
